"I finally got the opportunity to try this establishment this weekend. My BFF said that she liked everything she got here and has come several times. I was a little surprised by the decor in the place, very neat, clean and everything in its place but I couldn't catch the theme upon entry...eclectic, artsy but also a lot of flowers that reminded of a Asian/sushi restaurant. I did love the art that was featured of different artist though, very dope! But back to the food, the selections were more than I anticipated which was a good thing! It was hard to make a decision but I went there with a craving for some fried chicken so I did stick to the plan. I ordered a Fried Chicken Platter with mac & cheese and collards greens as my sides. All of the food is displayed behind a glass and some things look yummier than others and seeing the salmon & shrimp I almost changed my mind. There wasn't a long wait and Jay fixed my order. She was very personable and answered my questions very pleasantly. She hooked up my kids platter as well. I ordered to go so I ate my dinner at home. The fried chicken was really good and what I was craving, the mac & cheese was just okay in my opinion, I like to be able to differentiate between the cheese and the noodles and the overall texture was a little too mushy for me. The greens were tasty, a little high on the vinegar side but some people enjoy that twang. I tried the mashed potatoes & corn from the kids platter and those both were really good! I'll come back and try some other dishes as the staff was very nice & polite."

"my experience was nothing short of amazing. The first time I went was last weekend and everything I had was delicious. I thought about it all week long and today I returned with my husband and my granddaughter and again the food was fantastic. I had This smothered chicken with cabbage and candy yams, and I had to have a side of the catfish which was Made to order fresh presented well and taste so good. My husband had the same but ordered the blackened catfish. My granddaughter ordered the ribs, mac & cheese, and yams when I tell you, the ribs fell off the The bone....baybay And please let me mention the staff. Everybody had a smile on their face. The manager thanked us for coming. He was very personable and made sure that we were impressed. I will return again each time I come I plan to bring someone new."

"Me and my friend went on a Friday and we both got the sweet firecracker shrimp, with collard greens, yams and mac as our sides! There wasn't a line at all. The cashier that rang our food up was very sweet and kind and spoke with us about the different specialty drinks they had! The food was very good and seasoned well! My friend and I sat down to eat our food and catch up, and shortly the manager came out and spoke with us. Very kind interaction and loved the atmosphere! It's my third/fourth time going there, but it was my friend's first time and she said she will be back! I will be getting the sweet firecracker shrimp again, it may be a new favorite of mine!"
